Where acoustic pods are used
Acoustic pods are used anywhere people need sound kept in or out without building a room: phone calls and meetings in open-plan offices, one-to-one teaching, music practice, live streaming and podcasts, noisy factory floors, and bookable workspaces in coworking centres and airports.
Phone calls in open-plan offices
A booth takes calls off the open floor, so callers hear no background noise and colleagues are not disturbed.
Small meetings
Most meetings involve two to six people. A pod handles them so the main meeting room is free for larger sessions.
Private solo office
A pod gives a manager or a focus worker a private room without fit-out works.
Education and training
Pods give tutors and students a quiet space for one-to-one teaching, language practice and exams.
Music practice
Instrument practice stays inside the pod instead of reaching neighbours, and the interior panels keep the room from sounding boxy.
Live streaming and podcasts
Sound insulation and short reverberation make the pod a ready-made broadcast or recording booth.
Factories and workshops
Staff on noisy floors can take calls and hold discussions without walking out of the workshop.
Airports, lounges and coworking
Pods with power, network and optional access control work as bookable temporary offices.
Matching the pod to the use
Calls and streaming suit the single-person S. Teaching and 1:1s suit the M. Group meetings need the ML, L or XL depending on headcount.
